Registered Social Worker
I am a certified Emotionally Focused Couple and Family Therapist with a dual educational background in nursing and social work. I have been working as a therapist since 1994. I believe in working collaboratively with couples as well as adolescent and/or adult children and their families using Emotionally Focused Therapy. We work together to help identify, understand and change the negative, unhealthy, interactional communication patterns that sometimes can keep us stuck, especially with those whom we love and care about.
I am also an EFT Supervisor Candidate and I offer clinical supervision/consultation to therapists who are interested in pursuing their certification in EFT or EFFT, as well as to those wanting to gain more experience and learn more about this approach.

Registered Psychologist
After working as a Psychologist for over 35 years I believe that people yearn and strive to become the best and healthiest versions of themselves they can be. Therapy is a wonderful opportunity to move forward on that path – to grow in knowing and managing oneself. For my clients the process might involve working through trauma or abuse, managing troubling symptoms of depression, anxiety or other mental health challenges, improving relationships, moving through grief or loss, navigating difficult transitions in life, or feeling heard and understood during a difficult time. Depending on the person and therapy goals, I will use a cognitive-behavioural, insight-oriented, trauma-focused or integrated approach. I like to work collaboratively with my clients and cultivate a caring, supportive therapy relationship to help people become the best and healthiest versions of themselves they can be.
